Problems

  • Users had to enter a lot of data, and therefore remember it

  • Users faced a long form for money transfers

  • Users struggled with technical jargon

Goals

  • Create a smoother and effortless money transfer experience

  • To establish itself in the market as a preferred and reference bank for the Pix system

Main activities

Stakeholder requirements gathering, research analysis, industry analysis, user flow design, prototyping, usability tests, accessibility mapping, project documentation, and project presentations.

The solution

Streamlined experience

  • Addition of the save contact feature, to reduce steps and speed up the process

  • Reduction of the amount of information displayed on the transaction screen to reduce the mental load

  • Better organisation of the information hierarchy, to make it easier to understand the stages of the process

  • Addition of a button to share the transaction receipt, as this was a common habit among our users

Pix was a huge success,
reaching 50 million customers

and Santander bank has become one of Brazilians' favorite choices when making this type of transfer.
